  • owner, director of design, jack-of-all-trades

    a designer with +12 years of experience in architecture and construction. steph has designed new homes, commercial office spaces, restaurants, and home renovations. she has personally renovated four homes, (often wielding the sledge or the tile saw) she runs two short term rental (STR) properties that iterations designed, renovated and curated into amazing experiences centered around their special local areas and the amazing old homes themselves! (check them out in our properties section)

    she can often be found working on various DIY projects, enjoying a cup of earl grey and a good book when she's not kicking around with her husband and two little girls (and Renzo of course!

    Steph has her Bachelors of Architecture from Virginia Tech. (go Hokies!)

    passion: old houses and the stories that go with them! little historic downtowns, local festivals, and exploring

  • director of naps

    a bernese mountain dog of very little discernment, renzo can be found lounging on just about any floor and/or couch available. at 10 years young, he is our senior smell connoisseur.  

    he can often be found lightly snoring in proximity to any of his family members, but is always up for hikes and food of any kind. while renzo is very fond of the outdoors, he prefers the office work to being on site as saws and nail guns are not it. 

    passion: digging holes; it's cliche and he knows it, but he doesn't care. meeting new people with enthusiastic 'berner hugs', barking - because no attention is not acceptable.

Of course, we have a ‘style’, but that’s always evolving and changing, referencing the past and getting inspiration from the new. One of our strengths is weaving your story into a design that reflects you and your space, rather than our style and favorite things. We love a challenge and our favorite projects are born out of necessity - working around difficult restrictions or ‘weird’ conditions.
